Fresh Meat

We allow our choice cuts of meat to mature for a minimum of two weeks to ensure full flavour and tenderness is enjoyed by our customers.

Perhaps you remember what real bacon tasted like. Ours still does! Home dry cured, our meats generally are the excuse a number of people find to travel from various corners of the country to “stock up.” At the same time they take the opportunity to acquire a supply of our home made sausages, another memory re-created, and our own black puddings with that secret ingredient!

We offer free delivery throughout the Ulverston and Barrow areas on orders in excess of £20.00 and we look forward to seeing you at our village shop. We have ample free parking in front of our shop.

Christmas at The Farm Shop

We will be supplying traditional Christmas Poultry for your festive table including fresh Turkeys (9lb - 20lb), Ducks (5-6lb), Geese (9-12lb) and Chickens (6-9lb). Also available will be Turkey Crowns (white breast meat on the bone) and boned and rolled Turkey Breast (boneless white meat). Beef Joints, Lamb, Pork, Gammon, Homemade sausages, and home cured bacon will all be available.

There will be a free delivery service on Christmas Eve for all orders placed.

We have some of the Best Steaks in the area - matured so you get full flavour - treat yourself to Prime Local Beef Fillet, Sirloin, Rib-eye or Rump Steaks.
Pork Chops, Medallions, Spare Ribs and Belly Pork are all delicious when cooked in the open air, along with Local Lamb Chops and Steaks.


Cumbrian Chickens are also tasty cooked on the Barbie, choose from Fillets, Portions, Wings and Drumsticks.

Our home made sausage and burgers made with our quality meats and our own special recipes are a real treat.
