Travel down the coast road in the opposite direction and you will come to Barrow in Furness - home of BAE Systems better known to the locals as the ’Shipyard’ - and over the bridge to Walney Island where we have a bakery and take away outlet stocking all our popular lines - offering freshly prepared sandwiches, filled jacket potatoes, hot pies and sausage rolls for lunch as well as a selection of tray bake and fresh cream cakes not forgetting our well known creamy custard vanilla slices. Also our sliced roast meats are available, jumbo eggs and a selection of English Lakes Ice Cream.
